The Masonic Cancer Center (MCC), a Consortium Member Center, has announced a new partnership designed to improve the health outcomes of Black men. Together with Positive Image, a nonprofit providing education and expanded healthcare access to Black communities, MCC is delivering a series of monthly “Power Over Cancer” presentations throughout 2025 that address particular cancers that disproportionately impact Black men. The series kicked off in March with a discussion of prostate cancer. Future sessions will occur from June through December and focus on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and early detection. The next session is the Men’s Empowerment Breakfast from 9-11am on June 7. Additional information and registration is now available.
